is steeped in history dating back before the American Revolution. Go whitewater rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing, zip-lining, mountain biking, and more at the US National Whitewater Center or take a walk along the Light Rail Trail or the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, or take a stroll through Freedom Park.
Charlotte hosts sports teams from the NFL and the NBA, in the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets, as well as a minor league baseball team, the Charlotte Knights. There are plenty of museums, and fascinating history, not to mention great food such as North Carolina’s famous barbecue.
The Charlotte, NC campus spans 51,000 square feet and includes 17 classrooms. All classrooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment. A fully equipped computer lab and Learning Resource Center are available to provide the resources necessary for training. WiFi is provided throughout the school.

AIM is part of a successful group of companies, which first began in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1969 and has grown to become a network of AIM campuses across the nation. The Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC) was founded in 1961. Its mission is to promote and support aviation maintenance technician education, with the ultimate goal of enabling the aerospace community to meet its workforce needs.
The council actively engages with regulatory bodies to support an infrastructure that will create high-quality technicians, provides resources, continuing education and networking opportunities to learning institutions, keeps the community informed of activities that impact technician education, and promotes careers in aviation maintenance.
